Beaches

Beaches on the Zadar, Sibenik and Trogir Rivieras are among the most stunning on the Adriatic. Rocky, sandy or pebble beaches, secluded and tranquil beaches or beaches with numerous sporting facilities, restaurants and cafes - something to suit everyone's taste.

SIBENIK RIVIERA The Sibenik Riviera consists primarily of two types of beaches: rocky beaches in small inlets with few houses and pebble swimming beaches in larger centers. Apart from the public beach in Sibenik itself, there is also a well-kept swimming beach in the Solaris tourist complex, where you can find restaurants, shops, beach volleyball and other sports terrains, as well as rental of water sports equipment. The famous, 4 km long, well-equipped and well-kept Plava pebble beach , extends from Vodice to Tribunj. Besides Plava beach, there are many smaller pebble beaches in Vodice. In Vodice you can attend diving or windsurfing courses, while in Tribunj you can take part in an underwater photo-safari. Grebastica, Brodarica and Zaboric, with their pebble beaches, are great places for tranquil holidays. The summer houses in smaller bays usually have private rocky or concrete beaches. Zablace is known for its medicinal mud.

TROGIR RIVIERA Trogir Riviera belongs to the most indented parts of the coast; small inlets with smaller and larger pebbles that are separated by rocky capes - great for suntanning and diving. We recommend the Ciovo peninsula to those looking for beautiful sandy beaches. In Gornji and Donji Okrug and Slatina, there are sandy and pebble beaches, while magnificent sandy beaches can be found in certain larger inlets. You can reach secluded bays and capes on the Ciovo peninsula on foot or by car. These bays and capes are surrounded by pine trees and usually consist of smooth rocks that lead right to the water. The beaches by the summer houses in Vinisce, Kalebova luka, Kanica and Razanj are rocky or concrete. The city of Trogir has a pebble public beach with a variety of additional entertainment facilities and many restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. The beach in the Medena tourist complex in Seget offers numerous water sports, diving and windsurfing courses as well as equipment rental.
